LASER PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
(STARLINK) One of SpaceX's most ambitious missions to date, the Starlink satellite constellation, is our solution for providing reliable internet worldwide. We are looking for talented technicians to help with the full-scale production of Starlink satellites. Build small electrical sub-assemblies by following work instructions precisely to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform optic assembly processes, including epoxy application, UV curing, and oven curing. Fiber optic splicing and fiber routing. Operate complex automated equipment, including maintenance and some troubleshooting with Engineering guidance. Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated, track calibration schedules. Work effectively in a clean room environment, strictly adhering to all cleanliness protocols. Perform test setups as needed to support developments across several test regimes. Manage schedule priorities and independently executing work to meet company deliverables.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalency certificate. 1+ years of hands on work experience.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company. Able to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience setting up and running tests and experiments. Associate degree. Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times 2nd shift: 4:00 PM- 2:15 AM.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Pay range: Level 1: $22.00- $26.50/hour Level 2: $25.50
- $31.00/hour Level 3: $29.50

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.- 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.
