Full Job Description Schedule:
40 hours per week, 5 days x 8 hours. Must include both weekend days; we'll build the rest of the schedule around you (Wednesday-Sunday, Friday-Tuesday, or similar).
Location:
On site, in person, Seattle WA (Interbay) Overview We produce precision components on robot-tended 5-axis machining cells that run 24/7. This role is production focused, keeping the machining cells running, inspecting the parts they produce, and getting finished work ready to ship. Inspection is roughly half the job. The rest is machine tending, parts finishing, and packaging. You'll work alongside a full team during the week and run the floor more independently on weekends, with support available whenever you need it. Responsibilities Inspection and quality Inspect parts against drawings using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM Read blueprints and interpret GD&T callouts to verify parts meet specification Identify and flag out-of-spec parts before they move downstream Record and maintain inspection results Machine tending and cell support Load raw material and unload finished parts Replace broken and worn tooling Clear machine faults and alarms and restart cycles Change chip bins and maintain coolant levels Keep cells and work areas clean and organized Finishing and shipping Run parts through the tumbler; deburr and clean finished components Pack, box, and palletize parts for shipment Requirements Strong attention to detail and consistency with precision measurement Solid mechanical aptitude and working shop math Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Comfortable working independently and managing your own shift Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs Availability to work both weekend days Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Experience with precision measuring instruments or CMM inspection Background in machine operation, quality inspection, or manufacturing production Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices Training is provided on GD&T, inspection technique, and our specific processes.
