Smith seeks a Lab Analyst to support our manufacturing operations by testing water heaters, boilers, and water treatment products for performance, safety, and quality. In this onsite role, you'll perform analytical and physical tests, calibrate and maintain lab instruments, and document results to meet ISO and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate with engineering and operations on root cause analysis, support product validation and continuous improvement projects, and help ensure our products meet strict energy efficiency and water quality requirements in a safety-focused, performance-driven environment. Responsibilities Perform analytical and physical tests on water heaters, boilers, and treatment products to verify performance, safety, and quality. Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment per established procedures. Record, analyze, and report test data accurately using lab systems and standard documentation practices. Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of product or process issues with engineering and operations teams. Assist in product validation, test method development, and continuous improvement projects. Ensure all lab work complies with safety, ISO, and regulatory standards and internal quality procedures.
