Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic animal health production team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations within an animal health pharmaceutical environment, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Your expertise will help maintain high-quality production standards while adhering to strict safety protocols and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines. Duties Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including material handling and packaging machinery, following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Handle pharmaceutical agents with precision, adhering to safety protocols such as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and respiratory protection requirements. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with
GMP, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and regulatory standards. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for process improvement and waste reduction. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records, incident reports, and compliance logs. Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and other material transport tools within warehouse and manufacturing zones. Assist in cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing manufacturing areas in accordance with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards. Participate in training sessions on material handling, safety protocols, and manufacturing standard operating procedures to stay current with industry best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing environments, particularly within pharmaceutical production facilities. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly. Familiarity with GMP, CGMP, and regulatory/legal compliance standards applicable to manufacturing settings. Hands-on experience with laboratory procedures and materials management. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and quality checks. Attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence in all tasks performed. Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with packaging processes is advantageous.
