Entry Level - Paint Prep Technician (2nd Shift)

Position Overview:

Prepare metal products for powder coating processes Identify, locate and set-up parts to be processed Blow sand or debris off parts using pressure hoses Wash products using a power washer Move pallets and parts between wash and powder coating line Operate a forklift Every employee is expected to: Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting and documentation of quality control and material movement Work safely and maintain the work area with high standards of housekeeping Perform self-inspection and other required quality control functions at the employee's workstation Perform required Preventive Maintenance activities on machinery and/or equipment operated Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all company safety rules and practices Lifting requirements: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices are available and recommended.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-1:30am
