Job Description
SCT Manufacturing is hiring a hands-on Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to own preventive maintenance and breakdown repair across our CNC and automation equipment. You'll manage a recurring PM schedule across 10 + machine cells (CNC turning, milling, and robotic tending), troubleshoot CNC controlled equipment, and coordinate planned downtime. What You'll Do Own and complete the plant's preventive maintenance schedule Including - lubrication, filter and fluid changes, belt and seal replacement, and inspections Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdowns to get equipment back into production quickly and safely Troubleshoot Fanuc-controlled CNC equipment, including alarm diagnosis, parameters, and backups Schedule and coordinate planned downtime for larger PM and overhaul work with production Keep PM records and completion logs current in our maintenance tracking system Partner with OEM service technicians and outside vendors on specialized repairs What You Need 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent technical training Strong mechanical aptitude: hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, and mechanical drive systems Electrical troubleshooting skills: motors, relays, sensors, VFDs, and control panels Fanuc CNC control experience strongly preferred Exposure to CNC lathes and mills a plus Strong organizational and scheduling skills to manage a recurring PM calendar across dozens of machines Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics High school diploma or GED required; trade school certification in industrial maintenance or electrical a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varied positions (kneeling, reaching, climbing) Nice to Have Robotic automation or PLC experience Welding or fabrication experience Forklift experience What We Offer Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; paid time off and holidays; tool allowance; training and career growth SCT Manufacturing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
