Pay:

$22.00/hour Looking for dependable, hard-working people who want to learn, stay active, and be part of a team that genuinely cares about its employees. We know manufacturing is hard work, and we appreciate the people who do it every day. That's why we focus on creating a workplace where employees are respected, listened to, and given opportunities to grow.

WHY EMPLOYEES CHOOSE AFP

Potential for 2 Raises During Your First Year Employees can earn up to two pay increases during their first year (based on performance, attendance, and skill development). You're Not Just a Number Here Our supervisors know their employees. Management is approachable, supportive, and genuinely wants employees to succeed. Management Actually Listens Have an idea? See a problem? Want to learn something new? We want to hear it. We believe some of the best ideas come from the people doing the work every day. Leadership Is Visible It's not uncommon to see our COO and other leaders on the production floor talking with employees, helping solve problems, and supporting the team. Opportunities to Cross Train and Grow We don't believe employees should feel stuck in one role forever. We ask employees to first learn the position they were hired for and spend a few months building their skills. After that, if another position interests you, let's talk. Many employees have successfully cross-trained into other areas of the plant and discovered a role that was a better fit for their strengths and interests. Stay Active and Keep Moving You'll be on your feet, working with your hands, solving problems, and helping build products used across multiple industries. What You'll Do Operate and monitor production equipment Handle fiberglass materials and production supplies Assist with machine setups and product changeovers Perform quality checks and measurements Use tape measures, calipers, and basic hand tools Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized Work closely with teammates to meet production goals Crosstrain in other plant areas as opportunities become available Think. Troubleshoot. Communicate. We're not looking for someone who simply stands next to a machine. Successful operators pay attention to what's happening on the production line, recognize when something doesn't look right, and act. That could mean troubleshooting a basic issue, notifying a supervisor, or involving Quality, a Rover, or Maintenance when additional support is needed. You don't have to know all the answers on day one. We'll train you. We do expect operators to stay engaged, think critically, and help solve problems as part of the team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're more interested in attitude and reliability than having a perfect resume. You'll fit in well if you: Show up on time and ready to work Enjoy hands-on, physical work Like staying busy Take pride in producing quality products Work well with others Follow safety procedures Can identify problems and communicate effectively Want to learn new skills and grow within the company No experience? We'll train the right person.

•Candidates with solid manufacturing experience are given first preference

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires: Standing and walking throughout the shift Lifting up to 50 pounds Working at heights up to 20 feet using a lift Working around fiberglass materials Wearing required PPE and safety equipment Working in a hot environment (no AC - it's hot in the summer) Working in an environment where chemical odors are present

LOOKING FOR MORE THAN JUST ANOTHER FACTORY JOB?

If you want a workplace where management knows your name, your ideas are heard, and you have opportunities to learn new skills and advance, we'd love to meet you. Apply today and join a team that appreciates hard work, values your input, and wants to help you succeed! Advanced Fiber Products is an equal opportunity employer.
