About this job… Nosco is looking for an Inspection Operator on second and third shift at our Pleasant Prairie, WI Facility. As an employee owner in this position, operate a rewinder/inspection asset to perform the final step of digital label production. In this role you will produce printed roll labels to meet on time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance with all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner. In this role, you will also package all products and supplies per customer required documentation. In this role, you will… Actively monitor production efficiency and quality. Complete all documentation and reporting accurately. Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results. Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing). Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP. Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads. Success factors… Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to freely communicate with all production staff. Must have good mechanical background. Must have lift truck operating experience, at least one year Physical requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds. Long periods of concentration. Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Prior background in manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry is helpful An eye for detail and excellent documentation skills Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally 40 Reliable as evidenced by good attendance Ability to read ruler to a 1/32"
