You'll work just 36 hours and get paid for 40 , giving you extra days off each week without sacrificing your paycheck. Plus, if you're interested in earning more, voluntary overtime is available after 36 hours , but it's never required. Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility:
  • Responsible for machining, assembling, handling products, equipment and materials per Method of Manufacturing and the Quality Procedures.
  • Load, unload, hang, and remove parts or materials from conveyor systems and paint line racks.
  • Prepare products for painting by inspecting, cleaning, masking, or staging materials as required.
  • Perform visual quality inspections before, during, and after the painting process to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
  • Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Assist with changeovers, color changes, and basic equipment adjustments as needed.
  • Package, label, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and environmental regulations.
  • Must run production according to schedules, unless instructed otherwise.
  • Must perform Quality Checks with the use of gauges and visual inspection during specified time periods while running production.
  • Demonstrate ability to safely operate various machines.
  • Must be able to read and understand Travelers / Job routings.
  • Report labor, rework, and scrap directly in ERP computer operating system.
  • Ability to perform repetitious tasks, occasionally subject to frequent changes in job assignment as requested by Department Lead.
  • Work on rapid improvement projects to improve departmental metrics as required to maximize value and reduce costs along with continuous improvement of product and process quality in all areas.
  • Other tasks as needed.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Manufacturing production
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs continuously.
  • Must be able to stand for 12 hours a day
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge helpful.
