Job Description

You must be a U.S. Citizens or permanent resident. No student visa applicants accepted! Zupt is an international B2B service and technology development company, based in Northwest Houston, Texas, specializing in the integration and application of unique technologies into the offshore Oil & Gas and Renewables industry. This entry level position is specifically for offshore marine construction survey operations (International including Europe, South America, West Africa, etc.). This full-time position will be split between working onshore (in the office in Houston) and offshore work, where you will be working on fixed structures (rigs) or floating vessels travelling for potentially an extended period of time away from home (a maximum of 30 days in one trip).
Required Skills:
  • Strong math skills
  • CAD skills (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) The interview process will include short Excel and CAD tests
  • Solid analytical background
  • Ability to write and use macros in Excel
  • Strong practical aptitude
  • Strong interest in international travel
  • Candidates must be physically fit and be passed by a medical doctor
  • This position mandates random drug tested as part of the application and employment process
Preferred Skills:
  • Any experience of survey operations (land or offshore / Hydrographic)
  • Any knowledge of cartography
Education:
Mechanical or electrical engineers with a
