Job Description

Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Lead We are seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Lead to support and coordinate construction materials testing and geotechnical projects throughout the region. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineering professional with experience in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or project engineering who is looking to advance their career. The CMT Lead will oversee testing programs, coordinate field personnel, communicate with clients, review reports, and provide technical guidance to technicians. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of public and private-sector projects while developing leadership skills within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities

+ Oversee testing programs for construction materials.

+ Coordinate field personnel and ensure effective communication with clients.

+ Review and analyze test reports for accuracy and compliance.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians.

+ Experience in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or project engineering.

+ Strong understanding of construction materials testing procedures, including soil, concrete, hot mix asphalt (HMA), and steel.

+ Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and interpretation of results.

+ Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work effectively with field personnel, clients, and contractors. + 4+ years of relevant industry experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

+ Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

+ Candidates actively pursuing PE licensure will be considered, particularly those who have passed the FE exam.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Rock, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $62.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
