Project Engineer Job Description Join our dynamic R D Lab, dedicated to creating a universal inspection method for all aerospace parts using advanced non-destructive evaluation techniques such as Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, and Borescope. You will provide technical and administrative support to the NDE engineering team, facilitating the processing and delivery of inspection tools, analyzing NDE data, and tracking inspector assignments and progress. Responsibilities Coordinate inspection assignments and track the progress of inspector results. Request quotes from vendors and monitor their progress to meet schedule requirements. Verify that all requirements are met upon delivery. Provide technical and administrative support to the NDE engineering team. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent. 4-7 years of industry experience, with an internship in manufacturing required. Proficiency in Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in mechanical engineering, project management, project engineering, and inventory management. Experience working with cross-functional teams. SAP knowledge preferred. Experience in NDE, measurement/instrumentation, design, and report writing is nice to have. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Work Environment This position is full-time onsite at the East Hartford campus. The team is dynamic, with constantly changing priorities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Hartford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
