Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer (Plastic Molding) Oxford, CT $100,000-$125,000 Monday-Friday | Days | Onsite High-Speed Manufacturing Plant We're recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join an established high-speed manufacturing plant in Oxford, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to optimize manufacturing and assembly processes, support new product introductions and lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost. Strong process improvement, tooling and production troubleshooting experience is required. What You'll Do Develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes Analyze production data to reduce scrap, cycle times and downtime Improve throughput and Overall Equipment Effectiveness Design fixtures, hand tools and production aids using CAD Lead manufacturing readiness for new product launches Create standardized work instructions and process documentation Support tooling trials, sampling and production troubleshooting Lead BOM reviews and Design for Manufacturability activities Partner with Quality on root cause analysis, CAPA and MRB activities Lead Lean manufacturing, waste reduction and cost-saving projects Maintain accurate documentation within ERP and MES systems What We're Looking For 4+ years' manufacturing engineering experience Experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment Strong process development, tooling and troubleshooting experience Experience supporting new product introductions Proficiency with CAD software Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement Experience analyzing scrap, efficiency, downtime and throughput Familiarity with automation, robotics or cobots preferred Experience using ERP or MES systems Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred Apply Click Apply or contact: Sam Wild 945-256-5118 sam@axionrecruitment.com
