1st Shift (7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM) Job Summary Manufacturing Engineer II responsible for supporting weld tooling, robotic welding systems, automation, process improvement, and new product launches within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Support robotic weld systems and weld tooling Improve manufacturing and material flow processes Support new product line launches Participate in PFMEA, DPAR, and FGR activities Support quality issue resolution and process improvements Develop labor estimates and SAP routings Support lean manufacturing cell layouts Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams Core Duties Weld manufacturing engineering Automation and robotic welding support Tooling and line design Lean manufacturing improvements Quality and process support Work Environment Onsite manufacturing environment ~50% time spent on production floor Cross-functional engineering collaboration Up to 25% travel required Required Skills Weld tooling and automation knowledge Robotic welding systems understanding Problem-solving and teamwork skills SAP, Microsoft Office, and 3D modeling familiarity Strong communication skills Manufacturing process improvement experience Preferred Skills Robotic programming experience
  • Preferred Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
  • Preferred GD&T knowledge
  • Preferred Union manufacturing experience
  • Preferred EPDP knowledge
  • Preferred Capital equipment planning experience
  • Preferred Education Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Weld Engineering/Technology OR 5+ years supporting automated welding operations IND_
