Robotic Welder Location:
Buffalo Grove, IL Pay Rate:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour + Sign-on bonus of $1,000 (will receive after probationary time)

Education Requirements Associate degree in Welding, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and hands-on experience will be considered. Ability to read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and understand manufacturing instructions. Experience Requirements 5+ years of robotic welding, welding machine operation, or metal fabrication experience preferred. Experience setting up, programming, and operating robotic welding equipment in a production environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment, maintain quality standards, and work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Preferred Qualifications Strong blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude. Experience using calipers and other inspection tools. Leadership potential with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of quality assurance processes, production documentation, and preventive maintenance practices. Physical Capabilities Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds. Frequent reaching, handling materials, and operating machinery. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in an industrial environment. Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and attention to detail required. Job Duties Set up and operate robotic welding machines to produce high-quality welded metal components. Install weld fixtures, load programs, and prepare equipment for scheduled production runs. Inspect weld quality, verify dimensions, and perform first-piece inspections using measuring tools. Troubleshoot welding processes, identify equipment issues, and replace worn tooling as needed. Complete daily preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and uptime. Review production schedules and blueprints to plan upcoming jobs and ensure accuracy. Maintain production, quality, and setup records while communicating shift updates and operational needs. Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing standards to support efficient production and customer satisfaction. Sparks are flying. Grab this welder job in Buffalo Grove today.
