USA 46721 SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to perform assignments requiring judgment and problem-solving skills relating to robotic mig-welding processes. Assist with set up and change over's as it relates to mig welding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adopt a specific group of cells and focus on all aspects of welding robustness for the assigned area. Teach robots points for optimum mig weld robustness. Adjust weld fixtures to control end product dimensions and as well as mig weld gap/robustness. Develop preventative maintenance procedures related to weld fixtures and weld guns. Improve process robustness, uptime and cycle time by researching and improving weld consumables. Maintain shim adjustment logs for assigned area. Document and improve welding parameters. Provides input in evaluation of equipment and processes. Understand incoming part quality and its effect on mig weld/dimensional robustness. Performs other functions as required.

EXPERIENCE
Prefer an associate's degree in a technical field. Minimum of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 3-5years of experience in welding and welding techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
