Job Description
Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Metallurgical support for rail product and customers Responsibilities Maintain safe and clean working environment Act as primary technical contact for railroad customer base Domestic and international travel to support rail customers and attend technical conferences Participate in technical committees relating to the manufacture, testing, use, and performance of our rail products Write reports and communicate to customers the results of quality claim investigations Cross-train on other metallurgist prositions within the rail program Ongoing progress towards attaining NDT Level 3 certification Obtain customer feedback to guide rail R&D efforts Suport other product offerings as needed
