ATTC Automation is looking for an entry-level Welding Engineer who's eager to combine technical expertise with customer relationships, hands-on demonstrations, and industrial automation. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, explore advanced welding technologies, and help manufacturers identify solutions that improve their production processes. What You'll Do Work directly with customers to understand their welding processes, production goals, and manufacturing challenges. Explore opportunities to introduce advanced welding equipment, robotic automation, and customized manufacturing solutions. Get hands-on experience with welding trials, equipment demonstrations, customer plant visits, and technical discussions. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop equipment concepts and technical proposals tailored to customer needs. Help customers understand how different welding technologies and automation solutions can improve their manufacturing operations. Build relationships with customers and provide technical support throughout the sales process. Work alongside experienced team members to learn the technical sales process, product applications, and solution development. Support the transition of customer projects from initial concept and sale to the engineering and delivery teams. What We're Looking For A bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technology, or a related field. Graduating students are encouraged to apply! A foundational understanding of welding processes, weld quality, and manufacturing principles through coursework, internships, or hands-on projects. An interest in technical sales, customer relationships, and finding innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges. A willingness to visit manufacturing facilities, participate in equipment demonstrations, and engage directly with customers. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences. A curious, self-motivated problem-solver who's eager to learn new technologies and develop professionally. Someone who enjoys collaborating with engineers, customers, and sales professionals to bring projects to life.
Bonus Points:
