Job Description
We are looking for a talented . Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others. Applying high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship ensures that all tasks are performed to the highest quality. Providing feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and performing quality inspections will help maintain equipment uptime and reduce downtime. Participating in continuous improvement activities and solving problems will enhance processes and reduce manufacturing constraints. Communicating effectively with your team and support teams will foster a collaborative work environment and improve overall productivity. Engaging in HSE training and completing personal development will ensure you stay updated with business requirements and contribute to team growth. High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. At least 1 year of welding experience Must be able to pass Cummins welding certification Perform bracket welding on axles and assemble Meritor tire inflation system to axles Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness Read and interpret bill of material, work instructions and specifications to current build of axles _
