Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly innovative and experienced Quantum Scientist to lead the fabrication and measurement of our quantum dot photon sources. This position is based at The Engine and involves direct, hands-on fabrication at both the Harvard Center for Nanoscale Systems (CNS) and the MIT.nano fab in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is a pivotal role where you will help improve device performance and yield, based on our proprietary quantum dot technology, licensed from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the forefront of quantum research in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. Qualifications (Required) PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent Extensive quantum optics measurement experience Strong hands-on experience with microfabrication (lithography, etching, and deposition) Qualifications (Preferred) Experience with III-V semiconductor processing Background in quantum dots or single-photon emitters Experience with cryogenic characterization of quantum devices What we Offer Competitive salary ($140,000 - $160,000) and an equity package Direct involvement in our core technology development Opportunities for publication, conferences, and technical growth Access to top-tier facilities (Engine, Harvard CNS, MIT.nano, and NIST) Close collaboration with leading groups at

Pay:
