Modeling Location:
Woburn, MA, U.S. Job description DigiM Solution LLC, a world leader in microscopic imaging, image analysis, and image-based modeling, is seeking to fill an immediate opening of application scientists to help support our rapidly growing business. An Application Scientist will focus on matching DigiM's software and contract research solutions to specific needs in pharmaceutical and materials characterization, and providing top level customer support in imaging, image analysis, and specifically image-based modeling. As an Application Scientist, you will assume a broad range of scientific and business responsibilities, including helping clients understand the application of image analytics and modeling to their product development, working with R D team to improve DigiM's solution to better meeting the client's needs, and supporting decisions in technical marketing and business development. This exciting new position is ideal for an individual that loves both science and helping customers. Mandatory experience critical to success:
A graduate degree in engineering, physics, applied math, or material science disciplines. 2+ years of experience in numerical modeling. Strong communication and organizational skills are mandatory. Demonstrated record in publications and professional presentations. Enthusiastic about helping customers. Willing and attentive learner. Passionate about science and technology. Preferred background and skills includes, Ph.D. Image processing experience Experience in pharma PK/PD modeling Project management experience, including project specification development, project execution, schedule management, team coordination, and project reporting. Customer facing experience
Tasks and Duties:
Grow into a world class subject matter expert in the emerging field of image-based microstructure modeling Assists various business and marketing effort related to pharmaceutical industry and materials industry Participate and present at conferences. Actively contribute to the product roadmap and company direction by compiling and reporting key customer requirements and market trends.
