The Trainee Workshop Engineer program aims to equip you with the skill and knowledge to become a Workshop Engineer. This trainee program will stretch across 18-months (internal) / 24-months (external) with both structured and on-the-job training. You will undergo a comprehensive theory and practical training program, leading to the grant of an authorization/ approval certificate (subject to the completion of the program requirements). What You Will Do

Perform engine disassembly, assembly, testing, inspection, and repair, in accordance with approved current technical data and any relevant international and local aviation authorities.

Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encountered in daily work.

Lead and supervise a team of technicians in performing daily tasks including work assignment and monitoring.

Assist Cell Leaders and Managers in operations planning to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.

Participate in production linearity projects and setup, housekeeping and other workshop activities.

Upkeep & maintain the Operations tooling and fixture.

Carry out SAP and Solumina transactions and make necessary changes to work order.

Actively support and participate in continuous improvement, environmental health & safety (EH&S) and quality projects and initiatives.

Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications You Must Have

Diploma in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or other engineering disciplines.

Internal candidates need to hold valid certifying technician (CT) approval.

Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.

Good team player with good organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Able to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night).

Qualifications We Prefer

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP systems.
