Paid Career Path Through Skills Training Location:
Upstate South Carolina Build Your Welding Skills. Prepare for Your Next Career Opportunity. Do you have welding experience but need additional hands-on training to qualify for higher-level welding positions? Have you completed welding coursework but need more practical experience? We are currently identifying qualified candidates for a customized welding skills training program designed to strengthen welding ability and prepare participants for potential employment opportunities with leading manufacturing companies throughout Upstate South Carolina. You do not need to be an expert welder. We are looking for candidates who already have a basic foundation and are motivated to improve their skills and build a long-term career in manufacturing. What We're Looking For Candidates should have some combination of: Basic or foundational welding experience MIG welding, fabrication, metalworking, or related manufacturing experience Ability to read basic measurements and use hand and power tools Previous welding school, technical training, or hands-on welding experience Strong attendance and reliability Willingness to learn and receive additional training Commitment to completing the training program Interest in building a long-term welding or manufacturing career What Selected Candidates May Receive Qualified candidates may have the opportunity to participate in customized welding skills training at no cost to the candidate.
Training may include:
Hands-on welding instruction MIG welding skill development Welding techniques and production processes Fabrication fundamentals Measurement and blueprint basics Practical welding exercises Skills aligned with the needs of participating manufacturing employers Candidates who successfully complete the program may be considered for direct employment opportunities with participating manufacturing companies. Pay Details:
$30.00 to $40.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
