Welding Inspector Location:
Manor, TX Pay Rate:
$21.00 per hour

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred CSWIP, AWS, HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent welding inspection certification required Previous experience as a Welding Inspector required Advanced knowledge of TIG, MIG, laser, butt, and arc welding processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding specifications, and technical drawings Strong understanding of welding quality standards and inspection procedures Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and welding best practices Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to supervise, train, and provide guidance to welding personnel
Job Duties:
Inspect welding operations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Review welding specifications and verify proper procedures are followed Issue welding certifications or approvals to qualified personnel as required Inspect completed welds and assess weld quality, strength, and conformance to specifications Verify proper welding equipment, materials, and techniques are being utilized Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions or alternative welding methods Demonstrate and promote proper welding procedures and best practices Support the development and implementation of improved welding techniques Maintain inspection records and quality documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and state health and safety regulations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Why This Opportunity?
