Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking a Scientist - Advanced Microsystems to work in our Arlington, VA office. This person will to support the evaluation and advancement of next-generation microsystems and advanced sensing technologies
Please Note:
This position is contingent upon additional funding. This role focuses on emerging research in advanced materials, precision manufacturing, microfabrication, packaging technologies, and device integration that enable highly engineered systems to transition from laboratory concepts into scalable, real-world applications. The successful candidate will assess innovative technologies, identify technical risks and opportunities, engage with leading researchers across academia and industry, and provide strategic technical guidance across multidisciplinary research efforts. Candidates should possess a strong technical foundation and the ability to evaluate complex technologies spanning materials science, physics, microsystems, semiconductor processes, and advanced device engineering.Salary Range:
150,000-220,000 General Description of Benefits Masters or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related technical discipline. 8+ years of experience conducting advanced research or developing technologies in one or more relevant technical fields. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Demonstrated expertise in several of the following areas: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate multidisciplinary technical efforts. Demonstrated record of technical leadership through research, publications, patents, technology development, or program execution. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.Benefits
