Responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting welding and automated production equipment Supporting robotic welding and joining systems Working closely with Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams Identifying root causes of manufacturing issues Improving welding and production processes Supporting new robotics installations and automation upgrades Coaching technicians on troubleshooting and process improvements Driving continuous improvement projects Monitoring production performance, quality, and equipment reliability Helping maintain world-class safety and quality standards Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering or related technical field) Manufacturing internship, co-op, project, or work experience Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication skills Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts when needed Highly Preferred Manufacturing Engineering experience Welding Engineering experience Robotics or Automation experience Controls or PLC exposure Body Shop manufacturing experience Automotive manufacturing experience Knowledge of resistance welding processes Bottom Line If you are an ambitious engineer looking for a role that will accelerate your technical development, expose you to advanced robotics and automation, and give you the opportunity to earn near six figures early in your career, this is one of the strongest engineering opportunities currently available in the St. Louis market.
