Principal Component Engineer

- BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Component Engineer in its US Defense Program organization.
Other responsibilities include:
+ Work with the Procurement team, QA and Manufacturers to determine appropriate Component needs for Engineering designs + Analyze requirements to ensure that parts are not over or under specified and maintains consistency with engineering intent + Supports part selection activities during design and development + Perform part research for other functions and interface directly with part suppliers + Prepare and revise part procurement specifications for definition and control purposes to facilitate part/material acquisition + Support supplier management and material procurement activities- Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- + BS plus 8 or more years of related engineering experience in electrical and mechanical component analysis and selection.
- Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- + Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). + Experience using MS Office, Product Data Manager, and Dataview applications.

Full-Time Salary Range:
$115779 - $196825 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Employee Benefits:
