Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our forward-thinking engineering team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, building, and testing mechanical systems including conveyor systems and custom automation systems. Your expertise will oversee the product life cycle from initial concept and research, manufacturing, run-off and implementation. Responsibilities Design & Development:
Create detailed 3D CAD models, schematics, and technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies using tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Manufacturing Support:
Assist with manufacturing during the building process and resolve production issues as needed.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all designs comply with customer standards and safety codes.. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a strong background in mechanical product development projects. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD). Knowledge of fabrication materials (steel, aluminum, polymers, etc.), fasteners, fluid dynamics, fabrication processes, and automation systems. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks within tight deadlines. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
