Job Requirements Camden, AR Clearance Unspecified Polygraph not specified Senior Level Career (10+ yrs experience) $125,000 - $150,000 Job Description Engineering Lead - Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical & Electrical Systems Overview Seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership for the production of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical, and complex system assemblies within a defense manufacturing environment. This role leads cross-functional engineering efforts, drives production readiness, manages configuration control, and supports program execution from planning through production. U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance are required. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting manufacturing and production operations.
- Drive technical execution, issue resolution, and engineering deliverables across multiple programs.
- Coordinate with Program Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Develop and manage project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and technical objectives.
- Lead engineering reviews and provide technical direction to internal stakeholders.
- Manage configuration control activities, including ECNs, TDP releases, CCBs, and ERBs.
- Identify program risks and opportunities and communicate status to leadership.
- Support proposal development, Basis of Estimate (BOE) activities, and program planning.
- Review manufacturing readiness, tooling, production processes, and supplier performance.
- Support AS9102 First Article Inspection reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of engineering experience within the aerospace, defense, or military manufacturing industry.
- Proven engineering leadership, technical lead, or team leadership experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, production engineering, and product lifecycle activities.
- Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and change control processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and coordinating project execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications
- Build-to-print manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Production Planning, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems) and ERP systems.
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) expertise.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly, machining, fabrication, or complex manufacturing operations.
- Proposal development and BOE experience. Work Arrangement
