Job Description

We are seeking Electrical Engineers to be responsible for all elements of development lifecycle for test. The candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development and will be responsible for helping to maintain the technical, cost and schedule aspects of their assigned projects. What You Will Do Design, development, and integrate test products within Test Equipment Engineering in multidiscipline engineering teams Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and three (3) years of relevant experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic Experience with commonly used test equipment including but not limited to: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics Qualifications We Prefer Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard Ability to provide technical leadership in a multidiscipline team environment Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect Experience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software Self-starter and able to manage workload to meet assigned deadlines Experience working in a team environment Proficient technical writing and formal presentation experience Ability to lead single- or multi-discipline teams of engineers Project management experience Bid and proposal experience Knowledge of computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniques Experience with developing and implementing programming languages Utilize existing designs as a starting point to interface with new units under test (UUTs) and UUT configurations when necessary Experience with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis ________________________________________________________________________________________ We are also seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment systems Client effector products. Qualifications We Prefer Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging. Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM). Experience with environmental stress screening of hardware (e.g., vibration, shock, thermal, etc.). Systems engineering experience. Experience with basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching less experienced professionals, and process execution. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Lastly, we are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to focus on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software as a part of onsite factory support of systems to support weapon system product development. The selected candidate will develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using the software style, development language, and integrated development environment specified by the organization. This is an onsite position. The selected candidate will contribute to multidiscipline engineering teams. Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production equipment, environments, and systems. As such, the candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of product development for RMD weapon system products. They will be expected to work, either as a part of a team or independently, to design, develop, and implement system level applications in support of producing and maintaining weapon system products.
What You Will Learn:
Design, develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C#, C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio in a Windows Operating System (OS) Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment Develop and derive requirements for software products Lead and mentor junior software engineers
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience. Experience in developing and integrating software applications using programming languages including but not limited to C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic. Experience in utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software implementation and ensure integrity of the software products. Prior experience in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio is required. Prior experience in laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (Ex. oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters)
