REQUIRES
strong Controls and PLC programming experience. The ideal candidate must be capable of taking an idea and developing it into a fully functioning machine by designing the mechanical systems, electrical controls, and automation while supporting the build, programming, testing, and commissioning of the equipment. Responsibilities Design complete custom machinery and automation systems using sound engineering principles. Develop concepts into fully engineered machine designs. Create detailed mechanical drawings and manufacturing documentation. Design electrical systems and generate electrical schematics. Design, build, and troubleshoot industrial control panels. Program, troubleshoot, and commission PLC-based control systems. Ensure electrical designs comply with UL 508A standards. Support machine assembly, startup, debugging, and customer acceptance testing. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customers throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience. MUST have strong industrial Controls and PLC programming experience.

Allen-Bradley PLCs Mitsubishi PLCs AutomationDirect PLCs Strong mechanical machine design experience. Experience designing electrical systems and creating electrical schematics. Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting industrial control panels. Working knowledge of UL 508A industrial control panel standards. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Robot programming experience (FANUC, Universal Robots, ABB, etc.) is preferred but not required. Experience with industrial vision systems, including: Keyence Cognex Experience with servo motion, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial networking is a plus.
