Job Description

Our client, a leader in innovative transportation solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product design and serviceability initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • What's the Job?
  • + Drive the Design for Serviceability (DFS) by evaluating form, fit, function, and access of products.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, and Industrial Design to optimize product serviceability.

+ Develop and maintain service part release strategies and manage the Service Bill of Materials (BOM) for spare parts planning.

+ Identify, design, and provide tooling solutions to improve product serviceability and maintainability.

+ Perform comprehensive evaluations and present findings to reduce costs, time, and motion in product servicing processes.

  • What's Needed?
  • + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. + 4-6 years of engineering experience within product design and manufacturing environments. + Proven experience designing and developing products through their lifecycle. + Strong skills in 3D CAD software, with CATIA experience being a plus. + Experience with tooling and equipment design, as well as product and process validation.
