Job Description:
This is 100% onsite contract in Fremont, CA 94538. Regular shift M-F, 40 hours. Our Client looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician to support assembly, testing, and new product introduction of advanced semiconductor equipment. This role works closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in a fast-paced cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in semiconductor or high-tech equipment assembly Proficiency in board rework and troubleshooting Experience supporting lab/test infrastructure Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) Comfortable working in a cleanroom wearing PPE and performing tasks at varied heights
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly and testing using mechanical drawings, work instructions, and electrical schematics Conduct board rework , diagnostics, and troubleshooting of complex equipment Support lab infrastructure and use diagnostic software to collect and evaluate operating data Create Problem Reports and collaborate with engineers on NPI builds (form, fit & function) Identify BOM discrepancies and manufacturability improvements Perform RMBWA safety inspections and maintain an organized cleanroom workspace Adapt to changing priorities, including rework and overtime Our Client is a Fortune 350 company that engages in the design, manufacturing, marketing, and service of semiconductor processing equipment.
