Our Hardware Engineering teams push the boundaries of physics. Tesla is looking for a high-energy, creative Sourcer to support our Hardware Engineering teams. You'll partner closely with hiring managers and recruiters across Vehicle, Cell, AI Hardware, Optimus, and related disciplines to build strong talent pipelines. What You'll Do Own full-lifecycle sourcing for Hardware Engineering roles across Palo Alto, Austin, and other sites Develop and execute creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, referrals, conferences, GitHub, hardware communities, targeted outreach, Boolean searches, etc.) to attract top passive talent from competitors, startups, research institutions, and academia Build and maintain a deep talent pipeline for critical and high-priority hardware roles Partner with Hardware leadership and recruiters to deeply understand technical requirements, team needs, and hiring priorities Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement, pitch Tesla's mission and opportunities, and generate strong candidate interest Track sourcing effectiveness, provide market insights on talent availability, and continuously refine sourcing approaches What You'll Bring 3+ years of full-cycle technical sourcing experience, preferably in hardware engineering, electronics, battery cell engineering, robotics, or consumer electronics Strong understanding of hardware engineering concepts and ability to discuss technical requirements credibly with candidates up to Staff/Principal Engineer level Proven track record of sourcing and engaging passive senior-level candidates in highly competitive markets Expert-level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, alternative sourcing tools, and creative outreach techniques Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; you thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment Strong passion for Tesla's mission and comfort working in a high-performance, results-oriented culture Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $64,000 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
