Akkodis is seeking a for a Sr Advanced Test Engineer at

Location:

Torrance CA for a contract

Duration:

06+Months .

Pay Range:

$60/h- $70/h ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Note:

Hybrid (depends on project(s) supporting; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 4 years of technical experience in designing and testing systems such as pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, heat exchangers, or high-speed turbo-machinery. At least 4 years of experience in Project Engineering or Project Management.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering teams to design, document, and analyze test systems for advanced mechanical components. Plan and conduct tests on products, systems, and components; interpret results and recommend improvements. Identify technical or functional issues and propose solutions. Help establish internal quality standards and reliability programs. Prepare and deliver regular progress reports on testing and project status. Lead or direct the work of other engineers or technicians when needed. Use creativity and judgment to achieve project goals, often working independently with significant responsibility. Report to a supervisor or manager while maintaining autonomy in daily tasks.
