Job Description The Team The Applied ML/AI Algorithms team leads the development of advanced algorithms that power BD Advanced PatientMonitoring'snext generation of clinically impactful products. We focus on transforming physiological signal data into actionable insights that improve patient monitoring, enable earlier intervention, and drive better outcomes. This teamoperatesat the intersection of research, product, and clinical translation. We partner closely with engineering, clinical, regulatory, and product teams to bring AI/ML innovations from concept to FDA-cleared, production-grade solutions. The Role We are seeking a Senior Engineer to develop and deploy advanced ML/AI models, including multimodal and foundation-model-inspired approaches, for physiological signal understanding and clinical decision support. This is a hands-on technical role focused on the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions. You will contribute to the development of algorithms and software systems that translate research-grade models into robust solutions that meet real-world clinical constraints and needs. You will work closely with data, product, systems, and clinical teams to develop andvalidateAI/ML solutions, contribute to scalable experimentation and development workflows, and help bring clinically impactful technologies from concept to product. Responsibilities Develop AI/ML algorithms from early exploration through production deployment and commercialization Contribute to technical execution across projectsspanningdata analyses and engineering to modeling Translate clinical and product requirements into practical AI/ML solutions Design, implement, andvalidatereliable and deployable AI/ML models Contribute to experimentation platforms,MLOpsinfrastructure, and development workflows that improve team velocity and reproducibility Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to promote engineering best practices Partner with clinical, regulatory, systems, and product teams to bring AI/ML solutions to market About You (Requirements) PhD with 0+ years, MS with 3+ years, or BS with 4+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, software engineering, or a related field Experience developing and deploying applied AI, machine learning, LLM/LMM, agentic, or other decision and recommendation systems Ability to independently execute technical projects and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams Experience developing AI/ML solutions using Python-based frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow,PyTorch), including shipping models across cloud and/or edge/embedded environments Experience developing production-grade
