Creo Parametric Full Job Description Job Description:

Designs mechanical parts, modules and subsystems to support the design of whole systems. Responsible for the complete design process, including requirements specification, feasibility studies, cost and scheduling, conducting various analysis, such as fluid, thermal, vibrational, and FEA modeling, conceptual and detailed design using CAD systems (i.e. Pro-E, Solid Works, AutoCAD, etc), detailed drawings, design review presentations, procurement of prototype parts, system integration, prototype testing, and handoff to manufacturing. These tasks will require working with other engineering groups such as EE, OE, systems and manufacturing engineers to ensure flawless integration and test at the subsystem and system level. Develops the required supporting documentation, such as assembly and test procedures, and service manuals. Works closely with and manages suppliers to ensure all design requirements are specified and achieved. Addresses and resolves product issues thru the product phases.

Own full mechanical design lifecycle:

Requirements, specifications, feasibility, cost, scheduling Design and development of:

Mechanical parts, modules, subsystems, full system assemblies Work on semiconductor process equipment, including: Panels, skins, enclosures, structural components Hands-on work in lab and cleanroom environments Limited focus on motion systems (mostly stationary equipment) Strong mix of design + hands-on lab work

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience (minimum) Bachelor's degree preferred (Master's or PhD also acceptable) Has strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Structural design and system packaging FEA (Finite Element Analysis) modeling Thermal modeling, heat transfer, cooling design

Preferred Tools:

Creo (preferred CAD tool) & Semiconductor equipment design experience

Technical Certification Bonus:

Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification.
