$60.00-$65.00/hour We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a temporary contract opportunity in Newark, CA. Key Responsibilities:

Research, design, develop, and test mechanical products, tools, machines, and equipment Create and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Analyze customer design proposals to determine project scope, timelines, and feasibility Support product development from concept through manufacturing and testing Collaborate with drafters and engineers on structural and mechanical designs Use CAD software to create and modify detailed models and drawings Interpret blueprints, schematics, and computer-generated reports Identify design improvements to enhance quality, performance, and cost efficiency

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required 5-7 years of mechanical design engineering experience Strong experience with CAD software and engineering design tools Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects Strong teamwork skills in a collaborative environment
