This includes RF components, antennas, radomes, support structures, composite/metallic component/structures, and full scale RCS/RF test fixtures. The candidate is to work design and fab of hardware in mostly a research and development environment with some production efforts. The candidate could be deployed to ADP or production programs, with mostly in a classified program, supporting a mix of flight and non-flight hardware. The mechanical engineer works closely with electrical engineers in RF designs as well as other disciplines (M&P, stress, EEE) to produce novel RF and RCS solutions for platforms. The successful candidate is a strong mechanical engineer who can drive challenging interdisciplinary problems from clean sheet design to fab, to test of hardware. Performing under tight schedules, the candidate needs to be a strong communicator and have strong project management skills. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree Working knowledge of CATIA V5, 3DExperience, or similar CAD experience. Experience with detail part / assembly design. Desired Skills Experience with design/integration of air vehicle platform(s) or aerospace components. Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Experience with structural design Experience with metallic / composite design
