Onsite Job Summary We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in wearable devices, consumer electronics, and mechanical/product design . The engineer will support the development of next-generation wearable products from concept and prototyping through validation and production. Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for wearable devices. Create 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation . Perform GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design analysis . Develop prototypes and support mechanical testing and validation. Collaborate with Electrical, Firmware, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, and Reliability teams. Support DFM/DFA , supplier development, and production readiness. Troubleshoot mechanical design and manufacturing issues. Evaluate materials, components, mechanisms, and manufacturing processes. Support engineering builds, qualification testing, design reviews, and product launches. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or related field . Strong experience in mechanical/product design engineering . Hands-on experience with wearable devices or consumer electronics . Proficiency with SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or equivalent CAD tools . Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, materials, and manufacturing processes . Experience with prototyping, testing, and design validation . Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Experience Smart glasses / AR glasses VR/AR headsets Smartwatches and fitness trackers Hearables / earbuds Wearable sensors Miniaturized mechanical systems Plastics, metals, adhesives, and consumer-product materials High-volume manufacturing and supplier development

Pay:

$48.00

•$52.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
