They are available worldwide through a network of manufacturers' reps and distributors Mechanical design of semiconductor handling equipment, tools and automation. Will be responsible for new designs from concept to manufacturing. Design improvements to existing tools and supporting technical discussions with customers. Designing next generation of existing products. Support first articles of new or upgraded tools. Support and manage the EC process, using standard document control methods. Support customer installations if needed. A good understanding of Electrical controls and troubleshooting a plus.
Essential Duties:
Mechanical Design using AutoCAD Inventor software. Includes 3D modeling and 2D drawings. Electrical control design, including schematics, component selection and assembly. Customer technical support. First article build, inspection and approval. Update and enter new ECs. Maintain EC forms and library.
Minimum Requirements:
5 years AutoCAD Inventor experience 5 years mechanical design Experience with interacting with and supporting customers Electrical design experience Software experience a plus
