Proficient in Microsoft Office , including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to manage projects from start to finish with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Reliable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented. Able to follow instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team-oriented, with a willingness to share ideas and collaborate. Curious, proactive, and eager to learn. Experience with wheelchair, seating, positioning, mobility, or medical equipment products is a strong asset. Knowledge of aluminum extrusion, tooling, fabrication, or manufacturing processes is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is an asset. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare technical drawings, submittal documents, and related product documentation accurately and on time. Create and update drawings using SolidWorks and CREO+ Develop fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and product drawings for standard and custom products. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on product drawings, specifications, and internal requirements. Work with senior design engineers to create product numbers, BOMs, shop drawings, and documentation to support production efficiency. Assist in preparing and updating parts books, user manuals, installation instructions, and product documentation . Document product changes and update drawings to as-built/as-manufactured status. Organize job folders, technical documents, production photos, and revision records for documentation purposes. Coordinate with fabrication, estimating, sales, purchasing, engineering, and production teams to confirm project requirements. Support job release processes by preparing required documents, printing shop drawings, and participating in release meetings as needed. Generate marketing or product support materials when requested. Perform additional drafting, design, and documentation duties as required. Support special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in drafting, technical documentation, product design, manufacturing, or engineering support is preferred. Experience with wheelchair and positioning products is a strong asset. Experience with lighting, electrical components, or mechanical assemblies is a plus. English is required; Spanish is a plus. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00
