About the Role We're looking for an R&D Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll contribute directly to the design and development of novel medical devices, working from concept through production. You'll take on increasingly complex tasks, apply your engineering skills to solve open-ended challenges, and be a vital part of cross-functional project teams. Compensation will depend on experience. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design and development of medical devices from prototype to production Work collaboratively in project teams to meet technical and timeline objectives Take ownership of engineering tasks with minimal supervision Develop and execute test protocols , oversee technicians, and analyze data Write technical reports and documentation Deliver technical updates and participate in internal design reviews Apply critical thinking and engineering principles to evaluate and select solutions Prioritize work effectively and manage tasks within project constraints Maintain a professional and solutions-focused demeanor
Required Qualifications:
BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) 2+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in design and/or medical device development Proficiency in SolidWorks Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working both independently and in a team Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Desired Qualifications:
Experience designing medical devices Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis Exposure to or interest in developing expertise in areas like: Finite element analysis (FEA) Preclinical research Design of experiments (DOE) Equipment or fixture design Design for manufacturing (DFM) Why Join Rev1 Engineering? $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
