Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer II to contribute independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and application of engineering techniques and procedures, and provide expertise in compliance with industry codes.

Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Minimum of five (5+) years of recent and related experience or any equivalent combination of Education and/or Experience. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification is required; Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred. Proficiency in software packages like SolidWorks Simulation, AutoPIPE Advanced, Codeware COMPRESS and must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed evaluation of customer specifications, develop tactical plans for executing the engineering phase of projects and oversee the design phase. Perform independent engineering calculations, prepare technical reports, and conduct reviews to ensure compliance with contract terms and applicable code requirements. Responsible for selection of components and instrumentation associated with design and contract requirements of projects. Create and verify data sheets for communication with procurement and customers. Conduct drawing reviews to ensure equipment designs comply with calculations, applicable codes/standards, and customer specifications. Review and disposition engineering and design-related Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for assigned projects.
