We are looking for a new developer in a team tasked with creating common operating systemsfor Keysight's instruments. We are a fun-loving group with a strong culture, looking for someone who lives foroperatingsystems. In this role, you willbe tasked with creating a highly securedYoctosystem.
You will design, develop, test, and debug software features, products, andtoolingforLinuxsystemlibraries and tools.
Across all Keysight products, the operating system is a common thread with the responsibility for meeting security and software standards and delivering features that expand Keysight's technical leadership across all instrument types. Chosen Candidatewill Participate in the full software lifecycle of requirementscapture,research andinvestigation, product definition, design, implementation, test development, testing, and maintenance. As a hands-on technical leader, you will mentor other engineers, coordinate with Keysightinternal groups,andresolve complex technical issues. You will work closely with other functional areas such as Marketing, R D, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, Learning Products, etc., within our business unit as well as across other Keysight business groups, to understand the customer's design flow, and to provide whole-product solutions. This position is located in Loveland, Colorado.
Candidates must be local or willing torelocateto the area.

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electric Engineering, Math, SoftwareEngineeringor equivalent degree (BS and3+ years of applicableSoftware Developmentexperience; MS and1+ years of applicableSoftware Developmentexperience)
- 3+ years in software development onLinuxplatforms Critical skills required of this position are:
- Must havedemonstratedtrack recordof experience in object-oriented design and C++ programming skills/C++ standards
- Quick learner capable of systems-level thinking and abstraction
- Proficient in compilers (gccand cross-compilation), debuggers (kgdb,gdb)and performance profilers
- A keen problem solver and critical thinker, with a positive and team-oriented approach Additionaldesired skills:
- Development experience with multiple operating systems (Windows or other)
- Knowledge ofYoctoand embedded Linux design
- Kernel or driver development on any system
- Working knowledge of Python and its family of tools Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Loveland, CO Pay Range:
MIN $89,000.00 - MAX $149,000.00 Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.Note:
