Mechanical Design Engineer - Piping & Fluid Systems Wheat Ridge, CO | $80,000-$95,000/year + incentive plan Some engineering jobs end when the drawing is done. This one lets you see your work all the way through the build. We're looking for a Mechanical Design / Manufacturing Engineer with real piping and fluid systems experience . You'll take in custom requests, ask the questions that uncover what the customer actually needs, put together the estimate and BOM, design the assembly in SOLIDWORKS, and help the team on the floor build it. You'll have 15-30 custom orders moving each week , so you'll need to stay organized and be comfortable switching between projects. You don't need to know every answer on day one. You do need to be the person who asks good questions, digs into the details, and enjoys learning how things work. What you'll be doing Talk with customers and sales to understand each request before jumping into a design. Review P&IDs, specifications, and piping or fluid system requirements. Build estimates, quotes, BOMs, and manufacturing routings. Design custom fluid system assemblies and create shop-ready drawings in

Work with fabricators as projects move through the shop and help solve technical questions during the build. Help improve processes and work through quality issues when they come up. What you'll bring Hands-on design experience with piping, fluid systems, or fluid-handling equipment . Strong

skills and experience creating BOMs and routings. The ability to read and work from P&IDs. Experience with SAP or a similar MRP system. An engineering degree; Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred. Good communication skills and the ability to keep several custom jobs on track at once.
