$90K - $140K (DOE)We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in consumer durable hardgoods to join our growing product development team. In this role, you will take ownership of mechanical design and development, helping bring innovative, high-quality products from concept through production.

What you will do:

Lead mechanical design and development of consumer hardgoods products from concept through productionDesign components and assemblies with a focus on durability, cost, and manufacturabilityPartner with industrial design, sourcing, quality, and manufacturing to ensure successful product launchesDrive prototyping, testing, and validation, including performance and reliability testingTroubleshoot design and production issues and implement continuous improvementsCollaborate with domestic and overseas suppliers to support manufacturing readinessWhat we are looking for:7+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in consumer products or durable goodsStrong experience designing physical products using materials such as plastics and metalsProven track record of taking products from concept through mass productionProficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar)Hands-on approach to prototyping, testing, and problem-solvingKnowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal, and assemblyStrong communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teamsExposure to global manufacturing and supplier management is preferredFamiliarity with DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles is a plusBenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedicalDentalVisionPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
