Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Engineer I will assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical products and systems, performing routine engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers, and contributing to the creation of plans, designs and reports.
REPORTING TO
Engineering Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
Utilizes engineering methodologies, principles, and tools to develop or improve technical products, systems or processes that meet specified requirements and standards. Research and identify optimal materials and processes to ensure product quality, performance, and manufacturability. Utilizes CAD and SolidWorks software and engineering methodologies to create blueprints, drawings, or models and communicate designs and specifications to stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure specifications are captured. Oversee prototype testing to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs, collect feedback, and draw meaningful insight for product improvements. Maintains detailed documentation of test results, processes, and specifications for future needs. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS and

Strong technical and analytical ability. Strong project management and organizational skills. EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or related field required. 2-4 years of experience in a precision component manufacturing environment, CNC Lathe or Davenport machining experience preferred. CAD/CAM Software experience required.
