Mechanical Engineers Needed for
Dietary Supplement Manufacture Company Description:
Ally Nutra LLC is an
NSF/ANSI 455-2 GMP
Certified contract manufacturer based in Dover, Delaware, specializing in dietary supplements for emerging and established brands. The company produces capsules, stick packs, sachets, and handles flavoring, packaging, and Amazon FBA preparation in-house under one roof. Ally Nutra supports a wide range of production volumes, from minimum orders of 2,000 units to large-scale runs of 50,000+ bottles or over 1 million stick packs. With efficient rush delivery options and competitive pricing at higher quantities, the company focuses on reliable, scalable manufacturing solutions for its clients.
Role Description:
We're hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support and improve equipment across our production floor. You'll work directly with our operations team to keep production lines running reliably, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and drive continuous improvement projects — from encapsulation and tableting equipment to packaging and bottling lines. Qualifications Strong Mechanical Engineering foundation with practical experience in manufacturing or industrial environments. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for modeling, drawing creation, and design documentation. Provide mechanical engineering support across production line equipment, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive maintenance planning Design, specify, and implement equipment modifications and upgrades to improve reliability, throughput, and safety Work with operators and maintenance technicians to resolve equipment downtime quickly and minimize production impact Create and maintain equipment drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new production equipment Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and support capacity growth Collaborate with quality and regulatory teams to ensure equipment changes meet applicable standards (GMP environment) Knowledge of GMP or regulated manufacturing environments is a must. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced certifications or licenses are a plus.
