We are looking for an Engineer or Savvy Technician with electromechanical abilities to work in our calibration laboratory. The candidate must have some hands-on experience with electronics, mechanical, or similar. Preferably, someone with instrumentation hookup with GPIB, RS232, Labview, Matlab, and programming experience. CIH Equipment Company, Inc. (1993) is an

accredited metrology firm specializing in the calibration of health & safety exposure test equipment in our various laboratories including; sound and vibration, airflow, pressure, air samplers, mass-concentration (dust), particle counters, velocity, flow hoods, humidity, temperature, photonics, gas meters, torque, force, gauss, and infrared. Expectations -- Focus will be on one or several laboratories for development. Training will be provided.
- Literature will be provided on basic principles of operation, application, calibration, and development.
- Preferable knowledge of hardware communication (GPIB, RS232) and installation based on manuals and literature provide.
- Your demeanor should be progressive, motivated, "get the job done" attitude.
- Clear communication with our staff is imperative.
- Your compensation has a starting rate, however, raises are given during the year based on the contribution you make to the laboratory and the company.
- Work with our Lab Manager for assistance with projects and progression on our Gantt chart.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
